Sant'Angelo is situated in a peaceful location next to the Monte Rufeno natural Reserve Park (600 Mt). It is a protected area of about 3.000 hectares, which stretches to the North of the province of Viterbo, in the Alta Tuscia territory, on the borders of: Latium, Tuscany and Umbria, to 10 minutes from Bolsena Lake and close to Orvieto.
The dense woodland and the complete peace and quiet that is so precious in a brash modern world has been left untouched by generations of Tuscans and Etruscans.
This Park is a unique place, where nature lovers can appreciate its beauties and its richness of colour and of scents.
Guests can visit the Reserve alone or together with professional guides; they can go on excursion by bicycle, by well-behaved horses, walking in the country footpaths or along the banks of the Paglia river, a very quiet fishing area.

THE SWIMMING POOL:

The Sant'Angelo Country Hotel offers its clients a wonderful swimming pool of 22 meters by 8 meters, from which, during a relaxing bath, you can appreciate the wonderful view of the hills envied by all.
Four comfortable steps allow you to submerge into the pool (the maximum depth of 1,45 meters).
There are also a large children's pool of 4 meters by 4 meters (90 cm deep) and a comfortable Hydro-massage pool of 4 meters by 4 maters (1 meter deep) where can stay 8-10 people.
The superb large panoramic swimming pool (18m x 8m x 1,45m depth) is situated in the extensive and beautiful garden area. It also includes: children's pool (4m x 4m x 90cm depth) and hydro-massage tub (4m x 4m x 1,10m depth).
The large garden that surrounds the pool is furnished with: a shower, many sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun-loungers and tables.
A comfortable shower is located next the pool.

HORSE RIDING:

The Centre offers unforgettable excursions on horseback or by gig with expert guides and qualified instructors. We have: saddle horses, through bred horses and trot horses, directly bred on the farm.
